Welcome
The Somali Integration Society was set up in 2002 as a voluntary
organisation in response to the growing needs of the Somali
community in Wales.
The vision of SIS is to help the Somali community in Wales to become self-reliant,
through integration.
By integration we mean that the Somali community should be
encouraged to acquire skills and knowledge enabling them to
play an active role within wider Welsh society, thus having
a positive impact on their lives.
News
SIS have been awarded a grant of £45,400 from the
Heritage Lottery Fund. To create a bilingual English and Somali exhibition
including a replica of a traditional Somali house.
